What are some good alphabet lesson object ideas...?
Use the names of the children in the class as much as possible. This will give the letters and sounds very concrete meaning for the children. If A is for Andrew and Alexis, they are going to remember it much faster than if A is for ant. Then try to find common items that may even be in your classroom for the other letters. Stick with things you know the children have experienced or are interested in. They may not have experienced an octopus, but kids love them for some reason!

What he did was wrong but you have to be there for him. My better went to prison and my mom didn't just kick him out on the streets into the biderness cold. Probate: My father died without a will, and i have two brothers. I have been living in the house 5 yr prior to?

I have two kids that do not live with me. I've only signed their Birth Certificates since they been born. Both kids currently live with their mother and grandmother. Advice on buying a copy of "Morte d'Arthur".?
I've been looking to buy a copy of Sir Thomas Malory's "Morte d'Arthur" lately, and I've found a lot of options on Amazon for pretty cheap, but something that concerns me is the much more expensive versions that pop up when I search "morte d'arthur unabridged." This is because of a version of the Vulgate Cycle I purchased. It's a wonderful read, but it takes very interesting sounding parts and sums them up very briefly in italicizes instead of fleshing them out. I'm concerned that the much more affordable copies of "Morte d'Arthur" may be edited of condensed in such a way, or skip portions at all. In short, I want to read the entire epic without spending one hundred dollars on it. Does anyone in the Yahoo community know of a full copy I could buy off Amazon for around ten or twenty dollars? I just want some clarity before I make a purchase.

Did Uwe Boll actually bring anyone to court for downloading Far Cry?
I know the German director had a law firm send out requests for a settlement in the matter, I got one...but is there any web post on someone who was actually brought to court? it's actually quite complex to explain what is going to happen. BUT very, very basically if the witnesses testimony is kosher and the damage to the car wasn't to severe then neighter the cops or prosecutor are gonna dig very deep into the case and will offer u a deal to compensate for the damage to the car, possibly a little probation and an order to stay away from the girl and her car. Sadly the cops and prosecutor are under-motivated to seek truth or justice in minor cases. The only way to motivate them is to get a really good lawyer, because the laziness of the justice system can be utilized to work against them, because if you have a real good defence the prosecutor and cops will have to work hard to build a case against you and as stated earlier they are lazy so the charges may get dropped simply because your attorney is too much of a hassle.

I've dated my boyfriend for the 4 months as of yesterday. We were best friends for over a year before we dated. All summer when I was in Italy he'd send me an email about how he missed me and what he was doing back home. He asked me out officially on September 20th. I'm the only girl who's celebrated christmas with him and his family and the only girl who's met his dad. He's never told me he loves me.. I've always just assumed it by his actions. I started loving him about 2 months into being his official girlfriend. Now, 2 months later I want to love him but a part of me is coonfused. We almost never see eachother. My dad is crazy strict and freaks out when he finds out about times when we were alone together. But I feel like we're not going anywhere with this relationship. We haven't kissed in a month because we never see eachother. I only see him 3 times a day in the halls: once after 2nd hour, once after 5th hour, and then at the end of the day when he walks me out to my older sister's car. I know I'll miss him the second after I break up with him if I do break up with him because I will have screwed up everything we have. just a couple days ago i was pulled over and arrested for driving under the influence of drugs and unlawful possession of marijuana which are both misdemeanors. something about the whole situation seems weird though, but anyways i was pulled over driving around at 2 in the morning to go to a friends house. they claimed they had pulled me over just because they suspected i was the person causing a disturbance at this one building just because i had come from that direction. but the cop smelled weed in the car and claimed my eyes were red. after searching my car they found less than a dime bag of weed and my buddies pipe who was with me. i have to attend court next wednesday but i have gotten several different opinions on what i should do. i have been told to plead not guilty to the dui charge to get it reduced but just plead guilty for the possession. then others will tell me to fight both of them, while my dad says to plead guilty to both. i guess im just looking for some solid advice on what i should do, i should also mention i am 21 and they gave me a sobriety test which i passed with flying colors.

Fishers mind had security. Meaning, his subconscience was trained to attack anything foreign. This is what was happening in the first layer. However, it takes a little time for the security to pick up on the foreigners and to act on it. This is why they had some time in the second layer. Those were just normal projections that kept looking at them when Fisher was learning it was a dream. Third layer, it was like security kicked in super drive because of the secrets on that layer. i am to turn my self in this tuesday. i live in georgia and i have been convicted of trafficing a large amount of marijuana. 12 lbs. yea i know... I had a good attorney present with me in court and he got me the 6 year deal. i was looking at ten. anyway what is important is i am onlky 19 years old. i am too young to be going to prison and 6 years is waay too long. i have absolutely no chance of early release or parole. jail was awful and i was only in for 3 days!! i can only imagine how horrible prison is going to be. i really need sum advice like what is the intake process like? how terrible is the food? how much privacy will i have? will i have access to the internet? how much recreation time will i have? can i work? i am 6'2" and weight about 185-190. i know i am probably going to have to at least once to prove myself or something. ive been doing MMA since i was 11 i am not too worried about fighting. am i supposed to hang out with people of my own race?(im white) please anybody any advice will help me greatly. i am really scarred and i do not know what to do. =(

When I am depressed i stop myself and realize that there will always be others on this planet who are worse off. Very interesting what your manger observed about U. Use this as a way to change yourself for the better. Be a happy person, but not too happy. The word 'content' comes to mind. My husband is always telling me to watch out when I get too crazy happy, because the flip side of happiness is unhappiness. Even though I do not like it when he says this to me, I do understand what he is trying to say. We need to learn to balance out our emotions. Maybe that is kind of what your manger meant. I have a dear friend with cancer right now, so I have been doing a lot of reasearch on that subject and discovering all kinds of things. The most disturbing of which is that modern medicine does not what in the heck they are doing when it comes to treating cancer. If I was told I had cancer I would clean up my diet and study with alternative methods. I would also go back to the hands on healer who cured me of my arthritis. That was a miracle, and I'm sure he could heal cancer too.

I live in a basement since march 1,2010?
I pay 800 rent she only give me a receipt for month and half security deposit and 1 month rent i pay every month cash, on december 2010 i dint have the compleate money for the rent since i get pay every two weeks and a son in college i was tight of money i told them i will have the rest of the money on the 13 so if you want take the half that i have now. well to make the story short i receive a court letter for non payment rent, im still in shock but i said something is fishy here im going to call the city inspector,and boom the basement is illegal now i guess i have to say that in court?

Should I reduce or cancel childsupport payments for my ex-husband?
I just went to court on my children's father for child support. I have had a rocky relationship with this man for a long time. I started getting support when I got a divorce from him because he made a baby by another woman at his job. This lady put him on child support first, and was getting $88 a week for one child. I was leaving out the marriage with only two children, and was only getting $69 a week for two. I had a job and was doing more of the work of being there for our children then he was. He would quit jobs and I would be stuck for months doing all the work trying to support our kids. He never been up to their school to check on them or take them to the doctor when they are sick and stay up all night getting them well. He later on got married to a woman that had two children with him and didn't care that my children was only getting peanuts. He would lie to me and say that he couldn't pick up my children some weekends because he had to work out of town. I would go to his facebook page and see that he was at the mall with his family buying shoes and coats for his two children that stay with him having a great family day. Here it was my child support had stopped for a whole year and I didn't get any money, and I had asked him for a coat for my daughter and he said that he was broke. I go back to court after years of not asking for a increase to find out by him that his other child mother who I left him over in the first place was getting $500 a month now for one child and my child support was $0 for a whole year for two children. It was like he always kept his other child payments up on his other case, but not mines. I was granted $650.00 a month along with back pay for the time he wasn't paying. I could tell that he really was not happy with the outcome. I didn't ask them to give me this amount or back pay.I just wonted what was fair for our two children we have by each other. I was thankful for whatever help I could get to take care of them. I don't understand why Im being attacked when his first child gets $500 a month and for years I was getting $276 a month until it stopped for one year due to him changing jobs. This man makes around $44,000 a year now and he has been able to buy his two girls diamonds and everything else while giving me the Im broke song. He talked to me after the case and told me that he was not going to be able afford the payments if both children's mother cases is getting big amounts. I asked him if he cant afford the payments then why did he sign the papers agreeing to the amounts, and he said he didn't know. He also said he was not going to be able to see the kids anymore because he was going to have to work a second job to try to support his family he has. I said I would try to work with him on a good amount for our children and get the back pay cut as well as the child support payments lowered. I soon check his face book that he dont know I read online to see he is bad talking me. I see his friends calling me a greedy baby mother and how he such a good father and I better enjoy my increase because he will not be paying it for long. Now he wont get the children because of the out come and my kids don't understand whats going on. Im sad inside, and just wont to cancel it all so he wont hate my children because of me getting more support now. I have been getting the short end of the stick by this man for a long time ,and just really wont to see my kids be happy by getting love from both parents. Should I get the payments and have depressed children because the father claims he wont be able to see them because of working more or cancel the order and allow him to give whatever is in his heart so he can still try to spend time with them?

This "problem" will plague you throughout life. I am a substitute teacher and frequently find students telling me that they're bored, as they already know the work assigned by the teacher. To that, I respond that since they already know it, good, we can quickly review it & if everyone is 100%, we'll move on to something fun. Rarely do I get to move on since some bored students make mistakes just because they aren't being careful. If the classes are boring and easy, show your teacher that you have mastered the material, then volunteer to help another student or small group of students learn the material too. Don't be one to make common, little mistakes just because you are bored. Sometimes if other students don't get it, the class can't move on, but they learn quickly from a peer. Peer tutoring isn't given enough credit. You can even make it fun!

i sort of know how you feel. when i was born my skull was fused together and it had to be corrected, so growing up my skull grew a bit awkward, my right brow doesn't have much bone and my nose and jaw are a little crooked. im very self conscious about it but i met an amazing guy, it took me awhile, but he thought i was the most beautiful girl he's ever seen and even though we broke up, he still believes that. Can you be punished for a trial that results from a slanderous statement you made as a child? Like someone thinks the person you accused may have hurt someone so they are taken to court by law enforcement, but it's completely false and nothing comes of it. Would the person who made the false statement as a child be put in jail or sued for making a statement that results in a pointless trial? Depends, both have ups and downs. Girls have a reputation for being manipulative, u also have to worry about the boys they would date and having sex (i knew a girl that was 15 and got pregnant, it happens). Boys can be bad meaning possibly more destructive (dont fool urself tho, me and my brother fist fought all the time, and im a girl btw), get into more fist fights at school, and u worry about him getting a girl pregnant (again, it happens). and I honestly wouldn't plan everything out like this. Things happen. For example, about the gender thing, my grandma couldn't have a girl for some reason, she ended up having 7 boys (one being my father), so u dont know what to expect and be happy with either. Also, u never know what ur child will be like so dont expect anything. they might have a dissability (happens all the time, like my brother), and later might get bullied alot in school or be a bully, might do drugs, ect. all happened to me and my brother (it was only us). and my mother was upset the most cuz she had things planned out like u, and it ruined her. so just go with it and love ur future kids no matter what. i mean girls have a bad reputation yet i wasnt the typical girl, i was a tomboy for quite a while, and my brother wasnt the typical boy. so anything could happen. anyway good luck

Eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Never miss a meal and just eat until your pretty much full. Then just do some exercise minimum is 30 minutes a day but you can increase if you want. Drink lots of water instead of soda and apparently drinking chocolate milk after work outs prevents the loss of carbs and proteins in your body. Just focus on eating healthy not organic food, although it is good but just don't eat cookies and junk food.

So I'm a 9th grader and outside of my biology class, there's an elephant fetus in a jar behind somewhat of a trophy case. I get really creeped out every time I walk to class. Should I break up with him?
I've dated my boyfriend for the 4 months as of yesterday. We were best friends for over a year before we dated. All summer when I was in Italy he'd send me an email about how he missed me and what he was doing back home. He asked me out officially on September 20th. He spelled it out in tennis balls (I'm training to go pro in tennis for when I'm older) and he tried writing it in my yard but my grandpa chased me away so he put the tennis balls into the holes of the tennis court fence at school after my practice. He was so charming and sweet up until now.. he seems like he's stopped trying. Before we were dating he was constantly trying to win my affection, but now that he has it he thinks he can't lose it. I'm the only girl who's celebrated christmas with him and his family and the only girl who's met his dad. He's never told me he loves me.. I've always just assumed it by his actions. I started loving him about 2 months into being his official girlfriend. Now, 2 months later I want to love him but a part of me is coonfused. We almost never see eachother. My dad is crazy strict and freaks out when he finds out about times when we were alone together. But I feel like we're not going anywhere with this relationship. We haven't kissed in a month because we never see eachother. I only see him 3 times a day in the halls: once after 2nd hour, once after 5th hour, and then at the end of the day when he walks me out to my older sister's car. I know I'll miss him the second after I break up with him if I do break up with him because I will have screwed up everything we have. I have been diagnosed in the past with A.D.D. and was prescribed Adderall for it. I couldn't afford it anymore so, I just let it go. Now I have SO much going on at work and my daughter just started school and I have to now help her with her things as well. I just have a lot of trouble concentrating and it's very frustrating and it's affecting my everyday life ...... I was thinking about going to get back on Adderall, now that I can afford it again. But, I'm about to go through a custody battle with her dead beat father and I'm afraid that if the courts order me to have a urinalysis done that they will see I have A.D.D. and I could lose my child. I mean, the father hasn't been in her life for nearly a year and a half and he never helps with her. He doesn't want to pay child support and I'm afraid the courts will grant him custody if they find out I have A.D.D. I'm perfectly capable of taking care of my child. I'm not that bad! I would just like to take Adderall to have the extra help in my concentration. I feel it would help me both at work and with my child. What is the origin (and meaning) of the surname Caum?
I found the surname Caum in my family, dating back to at least 1818 in Pennsylvania. None of the bearers' names appear to be foreign (Arthur, Robert, Sarah, etc.). Could anyone tell me the country of origin for this surname and possibly the meaning?
TV licensing letter in regards to a court summons?
Recently, I received a letter in the post from tv licensing for a court summons. I don't own a tv but there are other people living in my building who this letter may apply to. It was addressed to the 'legal occupier'. The letter was addressed to the building I live in and not a particular person. Are they just fishing for information?

Is it acceptable evidence for the distance between lines to be estimated to calculate an alleged speed?
I passed 6 lines (at 2 metre spacing) in a 50 mph zone but was nowhere near the seventh. My alleged speed of 57 mph meant I must have passed the 6th line by 0.74 metres. I don't see how this could be measured with irrefutable accuracy because the photo is not calibrated to show this. Has anyone successfully challenged guestimates? Maybe there is a secondary detection radar that we don't know about. I have opted to challenge the evidence in court so someones previous experience could be invaluable. NB ACPO's guidence is for a fixed penalty at 57mph, 56 mph would mean passing the sixth line by 0.52metres so 22cms could make all the difference!

Well on the morning of the 5th day, mom decided we were going back to tony's. I cried and Hayden promised me that if Tony ever did anything to hurt me that he would kill him.
