My ex boyfriend is on felony probation and has violated his felony probation?

My ex is on felony probation and he has violated his probation three times since being released from prison in 2009. He has been in and out of prison since then for the violations. He recently caught a marijuana possession charge in November and has a court date Jan 31. What will most likely happen to him?
