Dog batterer Arthur Kent gets 8 weeks in prison?

He was seen kicking his puppy, yanking it up by its neck so all 4 legs were off the ground, then proceeded to kick it 3 more times. He is already on licence for other offences so will now be put in Belmarsh until July. Is this a result, and should more prison terms be given to animal abusers?
